Hoover Angus is honored to host retirement party for Frank & Marilyn Eighme
at our sale facility Saturday, December 6 from 4:00–6:00 pm.
After Frank's Service has served our local community for over 6 decades, we invite you to come
share your appreciation for all Frank and Marilyn have done! The party will be very casual—
come and go as your time allows!
Directions:
From Frank's Service, go south on Hwy. 169 for 4.5 miles to 110th Street.
Go east on 110th for 3/4 mile to the big red barn.
Hoover Angus Recognized as GOLD Data Driven Herd
At the 2025 Angus Convention, Hoover Angus was one of 20 herds in the nation to be recognized as the top level of Angus data submitters. Hoover Angus has been committed to the accurate collection and submission of phenotypic traits, as this is the foundation for realistic and reliable EPDs. Hoover Angus believes that genomics exhibit their full potential only when paired with phenotypic data.

Hoover Angus to Host 2025 National Cattledog Finals October 16-19
Come watch the best stock dog handlers in the nation compete for the title as dog and handler are required to move Hoover Angus heifers
calmly through different obstacles! Cowboy Papa’s BBQ will be on site for lunch Thursday and Friday and Jethro’s BBQ Food Truck
will be available Saturday the 18th and Sunday the 19th for breakfast and lunch. Trials start Thursday-Saturday at 7:30 am and run
through early evening. The finals on Sunday start at 8:30 am and will wrap up mid-afternoon.

Hoover Angus Ice Cream Contest at the Tingley Memorial Park
Mark your calendars! August 24, 2025 will be the 6th Annual Homemade Ice Cream Contest sponsored by Hoover Angus in Tingley, Iowa. $1500 in prize money will be awarded in the ice cream contest! The Jenny Tull Memorial Pie Contest will give away $1000 in prize money. Get your recipes perfected this summer and enter them August 24! You don’t have to be from Tingley - all entries are welcome! 2025 Pathfinder Report - Hoover Angus Sires!
The Pathfinder Report released each year by the American Angus Association recognizes superior Angus cows for early initial calving, a regular calving interval, and high performing progeny. Sires recognized as Pathfinders must have at least five daughters meeting the requirements the given year.
