The 88th Anniversary Hoover Angus Sale was held Tuesday, February 2, 2016 in Creston, IA. Taking place on the day of the first major blizzard to hit Iowa, 189 live lots grossed $1,187,350 to average $6282. Cattle sold to 16 states and Canada.
106 bulls averaged $7443. 77 yearling bulls averaged $7276 and 29 fall bulls averaged $7888.
51 spring bred heifers averaged $4791, 22 fall bred heifers averaged $4534, and 10 open heifers averaged $5425.
