Quintain was the 3rd top selling bull of our 2016 auction at $26,000 to repeat customers Alta Genetics and Diamond J Angus Ranch. Quintain was the #1 adjusted weaning weight bull (non-ET) of the crop! Big framed, solid and stout describes this guy well!

This isn't the first time Pathfinder dam G216 has raised a good one. Her first son was featured in our 2012 auction and was the 2nd top selling bull at $15,500 to Jallo Angus Ranch, Gain & Weigh Stock Farm, and Gordon Helle. This stout Excitement son was the 7th top weaning weight bull of his crop and went on to post a 1563 pound yearling weight. This bull scanned a whopping 17.3" ribeye.

G216 is the herd's 12th top indexing cow with 7-110 WR! We have kept each of G216's daughters as replacements in the herd, and they have been nice uddered, good disposition, high producing daughters. G216 has an impeccable 356 day calving interval. She does the carcass side of things well also with 6-116 IMF ratio and 6-105 ribeye ratio.

G216 had strong individual performance: BW 71 lbs., WW 653 lbs., WR 111, YW 1039 lbs, YR 116, and she scanned a 13.3" ribeye to ratio 118. Breed average ribeye for heifers is 9.72".

G216 is a full sister to Hoover Home Run, a featured sire at ORIgen.

Great grandam V047 had a tremendous producing record in her day. She is the great grandam of Hoover Dam. V047 and her 38 daughter descendants that have worked in the Hoover herd have weaned a total of 163 progeny with an average 105 WR! 8 of these females have achieved Pathfinder status.
