Hoover Director was the $15,000 selection of Northway Cattle Company, Alberta in our 2023 sale. Hoover Angus was able to purchase back walking rights on Director and he has been successfully used on our young cows in the 2024 and 2025 breeding seasons.

Director is a stout bull that weaned at 831 pounds to be among the top 15 weaning weight bulls of his crop. He turned in a 1410 pound yearling weight to ratio 110 as well as a whopping 16.7” ribeye. He is thick, long, and full of muscle.

Dam V78 has earned Pathfinder honors for her excellent progeny performance and calving interval of 353 days. Three of her four progeny have been photo features in our past sales! She is a pretty, stout, easy-going cow that has a standout calf each year. She will be in consideration to be a donor in the spring of 2026, and we only flush about the top 2% of our cows.

V78 was high performing also: WW 704 pounds, WR 108, YW 1069 lbs., YR 114 to be the 2^nd top yearling weight heifer of her crop.
