Carbon Copy is named in honor of the parallels between himself and sire CC&7. Carbon Copy earned the coveted title of #1 weaning weight bull of his calf crop! He is a mile long, and one of the biggest framed CC&7 sons we have produced, offering thickness that is very rare in such a big bull. Also identical are the dispositions of the two bulls. Carbon Copy's pedigree predicts he will add lean muscle growth and sire calves that are unparalleled in the feedlot.

Carbon Copy daughters now in production are becoming excellent young cows. They have beautiful udders with excellent teat size and udder attachment. A Carbon Copy daughter raised the #1 adjusted weaning weight heifer of the spring 2015 Hoover crop at 753 pounds! A Carbon Copy daughter raised the #2 adjusted weaning weight bull of the spring 2016 Hoover crop! Carbon Copy daughters have an average 103 WR on their progeny!

Pathfinder dam Z99 is regarded as one of the best cows to ever be in production at Hoover Angus. Carbon Copy is her third #1 WW bull calf! In addition, three of Z99's daughters were the #3 or #4 high weaning weight heifers of their respective crops.

Three times Z99 has had twins, and her first set of twins yielded two nice Gridiron heifers. One was the long-standing top-selling female at $12,000 in our 2006 auction.

Z99's own ribeye scan of 14.0" coupled with her high ribeye ratios on her progeny have earned her a Ribeye EPD near the top 1% of current dams in America.

Pathfinder grandam V47 worked in the herd until 16 years of age. She too has a perfect udder and records 15-106 WR. Two of her bull calves and one of her heifer calves were the 2nd high adjusted weaning weight bull or heifer calf of their respective crop. One of them was a feature in our 2009 auction, selling to repeat customer Ed Claycomb. This bull was the 2nd high WW bull, second only to Z99's son that year. V47 also has powerful ribeye genetics. With 11-107 ribeye ratio, she serves as one of the herd's top ribeye ratio cows. V47 showcases high red meat yield at its finest - which will help you earn Yield Grade premiums if you feed out progeny and sell them on a grid. She is one of the top $YG cows of the breed.

In Carbon Copy's first calf crop, a daughter was the #1 IMF scanning heifer of her crop among 100+ heifers with a 9.21 IMF!
