Basin Excitement was the top selling bull in the 2009 Basin Angus sale in Hobson, Montana at $25,000. Several registered breeders zeroed in on this bull sale day, hence the name "Excitement". Excitement performed well with a 119 WR, 115 YR, 115 IMF ratio, and 111 ribeye ratio. He is sound made, clean-fronted and offers an outcross pedigree to the Hoover program.

Semen was collected at ORIgen in Montana before Excitement came home for natural service in Iowa. Many heifers were bred to the bull during the spring of 2009. Females will sell bred to Excitement in our production sale on February 2, 2010.
